Request timeout.
This new version doesn’t pull daily data from the inverter. Request Timeout. It will tell you what’s happening right now, but not for example how much was exported to grid so far today. Absolutely rubbish.
Notifications no longer work
This app appears to be a “fork” of an older version of PV Pro.
The PV pro version would notify me when the power mains go out.
The new app does not.
Trust Issues
We stopped using the previous version of this App (PV Pro) because all Data went through China. Fast forward a couple years and now the Sol Ark company has shed all apparent indicators of its link to China, save and except one: this App supports only 3 languages English, Simplified Chinese, and Chinese —ironic the website imdicates English, French, and Spanish. I honestly do not know why my Solar Data needs to be sent to any server(s), this leaves a bad taste as history shows that one day this company (whether China is involved or not), will hold access to, and control my Solar System for a ‘subscription fee’ a.k.a. Ransom. Please note. My issue lies with the Communist Party of China, not its people.
